Terms and Conditions
By making a payment to Jing Retreats to secure your retreat booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.
Booking, Deposit and Payment

To secure a booking on a retreat with Jing Retreats, an email must be sent to hello@jingretreats.com specifying the retreat and room of interest.
A non-refundable 30% deposit is required to secure your booking - a payment link will be sent to you either through payment link if UK based, or through bank transfer or card payment link through a secure payment provider.
The remaining cost of your booking must be paid at least 50 days prior to the retreat start date.
Failure to pay the final balance of your booking by the due date may result in the cancellation of your booking without refund.
Any retreat bookings made within 50 days of the retreat start date is required to be paid in full.
Monthly payment plans are specified and agreed at the time of booking.
Cancellation Policy

Your deposit paid to secure your booking is non-refundable under any circumstances.
If you cancel your retreat booking: any remaining balance is 100% refundable if requested at least 12 weeks prior to the retreat start date.
Any requests made after this date are non-refundable, however, if the retreat is sold out, we will attempt to sell your spots to those on waitlists. If another guest wishes to take your spot, we will refund you the remaining balance.
No refunds are provided for late arrival, early departure, injury or illness, travel disruption, weather or any other personal circumstances.
If we cancel your retreat: we reserve the right to cancel a retreat due to circumstances out of our control. In this case, all balances paid to us will be fully refunded for all guests.
In this case, Jing Retreats are not responsible for covering any additional costs, such as travel costs, flights, accommodation outside of the retreat dates or any other expenses incurred by the guest.
Transfers to Another Retreat

If you cancel your retreat booking: in the case of you are unable to attend your retreat booking, transferring your booking to another retreat is not normally permitted.
However, if the retreat is sold out and your space is able to be sold to the waitlist, we may, at our discretion and depending on availability, allow you to transfer your booking to another future retreat that is held within 18 months. An administration fee of £150 is required to approve this transfer.
If we cancel your retreat: in this case, you are able to transfer your retreat booking to another retreat held within 24 months, depending on availability and no administration cost is applied.
Travel Insurance

Jing Retreats do not provide travel insurance, and it is the guest’s responsibility to ensure their own travel insurance covers cancellation, medical costs, travel disruption, personal belongings and other risks.
Jing Retreats do not accept any liability for cancellations or changes caused by events outside of our control, such as war, threat of war, natural disasters, airport closures, airline cancellations, travel restrictions, staff cancellations, industrial actions.
Travel and Visas

Guests are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas and any other required travel documentation. Jing Retreats are not held liable if cancellations or delays are caused by improper documentation.
Travel and transfers to and from the retreat are at your own cost, unless specified at the time of booking.
Medical and Health

Guests confirm that they are in suitable mental and physical health that allows them to participate in a retreat with us, and acknowledge that you participate in all retreat activities voluntarily at your own risk.
Following confirming your retreat booking, a mandatory dietary and health form and consent form is sent to the guest to fill in prior to the retreat. It is the guest’s responsibility to advise Jing Retreats of any relevant medical conditions, pre-existing and relevant physical injuries, dietary intolerances and allergies prior to the retreat.
